Yep Forsberg isnt what we need. I also think Siggurdsson is more suited to an Alladyce/Koeman side than a Silva one. Will be interesting to see how he gets on this season as I feel we would be better suited with a more creative number 10 in the Coutinho mould.

Can’t make my mind up on Lookman. Undoubtedly a real talent in there. Shown flashes of brilliance, but (in a blue shirt) only when he came off the bench. When he started games, he tended to be wasteful or anonymous.

Rumours of a big head / difficult character, who knows if that’s true. Be interesting to see what Silva gets from him.

He could surpass Sterling & take his England slot or spend his career warming a series of benches. Ability is only part of the equation to be a great player. Attitude & application are arguably much more important.
