Ademola Lookman

Nobody has ever said there is an issue with his attitude. He's posted a photo that people have decided means he is off. And he's being labelled a "rat", and not good enough. And fans wonder why players want to leave.

Silly mistake selling him now. He's got plenty of time left on his contract, his value isn't going to drop, and with game time he's only going to get better

What sweeping statement mate? If he goes or not I still think the lad has a poor attitude. He may have been treated badly by Fat Sam but all the fans had his back and he has gone now with a manager and DOF who want to look to youth. He was going to get game time this year. Honestly don’t care if he goes at all.

What are you basing your opinion that he has a poor attitude on?

He is reportedly injured. Unless you know for certain that he isn't, then you can't claim he has a poor attitude.

Klassen didn't get game time for us, yet he came out repeatedly with comments about knuckling down, fighting for his chance etc etc.

Lookman doesn't get picked, throws toys, picks up his ball and cries home to mummy.

Lukaku -trampoline shins. Lazy...
stones - an accident waiting to happen, needs to find row z.....

Lukaku's hold up play was poor though and if the team weren't playing well he was barely involved that's just the player he is, he's been the same at United

Stones still has the occasional wobble as shown in the World Cup but was a solid defender

Mate, are you serious?

Go in the Lukaku thread, loads of people in there talking him down
To be fair, criticism of lukaku and stones was not limited to our fans. I've heard plenty of people slate lukaku for going missing in the big games, being immobile and having poor first touch. Even recently.

Stones was also coming under scrutiny shortly after he left Everton. I can't be sure, but I seem to remember sky running an article looking at his weeknesses.

The thing with lookman is he never seems to have settled here. He has potential, not doubt, but he's not an essential part of our team and we are in dire need of strengthening other areas so if the offer is right and he wants out then he can go.

What game was that mate?

He had a bad half away in Split, playing ahead of Martina. It happens, he was 19 at the time.

He played well in the home leg against Split, he played well over in Cyprus. He had a positive impact in most games he came on for us, which is more than can be said for most.

Utter nonsense.

@Mikey_Fitzgerald you were right.
He never made that much of an impact for us.

He has a lot of talent on the ball going past people and what looks like a decent strike on him but his positioning and defensive work were pretty atrocious. This is to be expected from a lad who before breaking into Charlton's first team had never really received any sort of professional coaching. Koeman's wanted to take it slow and work on those parts of his game he was weaker at before he would trust him every week. I agreed with that because he didn't look ready despite the obvious flashes of ability and talent.

He's gone to Germany now and they've given him the Martinez and Barkley treatment. He played 50 or so minutes a match and was allowed to just do his thing under a very different manager and playing style. Maybe the defensive demands on him over there are significantly less and he enjoyed it more. Who knows.

Fact of the matter is despite looking promising in moments for us a lot of his appearances for us haven't been good enough to force his way into the side. Everyone is assuming because he did alright in Germany that his form will carry on over here but there's no guarantee of that. If he goes now then we make a profit on someone who fits another team better than ours. I'd like to keep him and see him fulfill his promise here but I'm ok shifting his sulking arse for a decent return.

Hope he stays, there is genuine talent there imo. If he goes then he will need replacing, looking at that squad, one or two are unavailable then there is a lot of mediocrity as back up.

The fact that from what it seems he wants out. If Fat Sam was still here then I could understand but he isn’t. The fans had his back over how Fat Sam treated him. Like I said before he would have got game time now but it’s almost like he thinks he deserves to be starting every week which he shouldn’t be at the moment as what has he really done to warrant it?

I wanted to keep him but I don’t want players who clearly don’t want to be here.
