I’ve now had a notification thanking me for disabling blocking. I did no such thing in the same way as I hadn’t enabled it in the first place.

The device you are using is blocking scripts/ads.

The acknowledgement you received is when thats happening. When it's not, you're alerted/thanked you're no longer adblocking.

You bounce around from UK/Australia/New Zealand. You have clear spells when scripts are blocked and other when they're not;

This Addblocking needs to be refined..

After seeing that scary list I finally found mine and they were all clear, just checked again and saw one on there.

I have a VPN but I've always had the site on bypasser and I turn it off everytime I come on,

Yeah, anyway. Every now and than I forget, but the second i click on the site i get a warning and turn it straight off before even entering the forum..

I don't want some filthy red banner hanging over my already awful username..

You sound like adblocking rebel scum to me.

If there's a single page or two glitch where scripts are temp restricted/don't load and there's a pop up saying adblock, that's the nature of the beast - particularly if using Firefox. I can see it might have happened once from your last 100 visits.

You only get put in the adblocker usergroup with the title if it's prolonged use, not that.

People often say they didn't know they're blocking, the user title helps them twig it.

It can be the network/internet connection you're on. Like in work etc. Next time it happens, you can check your adblock history;

VPNs are a big reason, people using them more and more and don't realise left on/they block ads.

Appears I am not the only one - I have it set to disable adblocker on GOT via brave browser yet habitually getting popup to disable
