He’s poor going forwards but he’s great defensively imo.
He's had some good days, without a doubt, but I would never call him "great". I don't think his defending is consistently good enough to erase his complete lack of attacking contribution.
Don't get me wrong, I love my defenders to defend. After that, going forward is a bonus. At our current level in the food chain, getting the ideal hybrid great defender who attacks brilliantly is almost impossible. Hence, I'd always priortise having a really good defender who maybe doesn't add too much going forward.

Mykolenko was more consistent, I'd say fair enough. But that's not been my impression anyway...
