Nowhere near as bad as people make out...Salah gets absolutely no change out of him. Most wingers don't,he's just limited going forward

I was referring to his defending, which he said was average.
I think he holds the record for fewest goals scored from his crosses...
But he's pretty sound defensively- better than many in the prem.

He's had some good days, without a doubt, but I would never call him "great". I don't think his defending is consistently good enough to erase his complete lack of attacking contribution.
Don't get me wrong, I love my defenders to defend. After that, going forward is a bonus. At our current level in the food chain, getting the ideal hybrid great defender who attacks brilliantly is almost impossible. Hence, I'd always priortise having a really good defender who maybe doesn't add too much going forward.
If Mykolenko was more consistent, I'd say fair enough. But that's not been my impression anyway...

I don't know why Evertonians get so attached to players who really aren't much cop at all.
Of this current squad, there are two players I genuinely rate. That said, I wouldn't argue with anybody who wanted a complete clear out. This squad was put together under distressed circumstances. It's a miracle I can point to even two...

It is. He invariably gives the ball away or our attacks stall with him because he can't dribble or pass forward. He's extremely limited on the ball. Basically Hilbert mark 2.
