I would say get a commitment from someone/s to provide regular updates on the youth side of things. Proper primary research.

We can all add news articles as it comes up but having someone/s that regularly attend youth matches would be a real bonus.

Perhaps (just an idea that came to me), we could have an interview series with some of the youth players at the club. Could work one of two ways.

One way would be to have a standard set of questions (favourite food/country/player bla bla) and send those to each player. This may be more likely to succeed with the club as its lower risk.

The second way would be to announce on here that we're interviewing Kissock (or whoever), and members then post up the questions for you to send him.

Where they're not professionals it's perhaps more likely that we could get stuff like that from them than the full-timers.

Good suggestions, Bruce.

It would be great if anyone local has a chance (or the time or energy) to do any proper interviews. But as the club is getting better as providing information like that on its pay channel, they might not be as up for it as we might be.

But they could be happy about a few written questions. It would be good if we could take the time to research a player (where they came from, what their background is, injury problems, etc.) and tailor personal questions rather than "favourite food, favourite gangsta" teen mag type of questions.

Thanks for the Academy section. I will try my best to assist in the upkeep of the information on it. I am moving back onto working days soon so I will be attending the matches again, and will get the lads on camera myself then. I will get access to ask them questions also.
