Think weve been holding him back for this run of games to be honest mate Onana and Coleman too.

Aye I think you're right.

Our previous 2 managers were certainly caught out trying to get players back too quickly after injuries (DCL in particular), but Dyche seems to very much err on the side of caution.

Our game falling on a Monday will help, gives him a handful more training sessions to get his sharpness/match fitness back.

Even if they were 98% fit for the City game we made the right call
I would also say if he’s 98% fit for the Palace game he should start though because we need his attacking power going forward

Yup, I'd rather he started and came off after 70odd minutes rather than coming off the bench with 20 to go if his fitness was right.

We're so much more effective with him playing.
 
What dyche needs to do is start subbing players earlier. I think he (dacoure) charged around for full 90 after his first injury, leading to this current one?
I'd give him an hour to start, then up to 65 following game, then 70 etc.etc.
