I hear you but he's an upgrade on Mcgeady in my view. So whilst not a massive step up in quality I think its still going to be a help to the squad and he seemed to work well with Coleman last season.

multiple issues with this signing.
the fee - which could be 5m is far too much for a player who will be out of contract.
the age - 29 this season.
the goal return - non-existent for a player who you would hope offers some kind of attacking threat. he will probably dispossess kev as a first teamer who offers much more goal return.
takes up a squad place - del who is in reality a 15-20m player but cost us only 4m be cause he loves the club is now relegated to spot duty presumably as a result of this signing.
all in all a waste of time and as bad if not worse than the ridiculous 10m mori signing.

Lennon is a good player fed up people throwing dummy out. We needed a number 10/ striker but cause we ain't got that Lennon is now [Poor language removed]. Do me a favour go away and give your head a shake

Its a squad game, if we want to win trophies in modern football you need a squad of 20 or so quality players

Could well have ended up a lot lower without him. Can count four points he gained us just off the top of my head. Two goals and an assist in a relegation battle is absolutely priceless when the rest of the side were offering jack all.

Won a penalty and got Collocini sent off vs Newcastle, scored the winner vs QPR and scored vs Swansea in 14 appearances.

That's more than I imagine McGeady would do in that amount of time.

Starting 11? Maybe not. Squad player? Why not?

Love the Maths.
Half a million (minimum) added to Lennon fee; same amount added to Funes Mori fee and a figure for Del just plucked out of the air at random.
Football is about opinions but at least let's be consistent about figures.
