All they had to do was market this as a kit revealing event. They could have steered it towards kids, maybe given a couple youth kits away as prizes. Have the kids ask some players their questions.
Instead they try some crap marketing ploy of "Special Closed Door" event. You have a rabid fanbase desperate for transfers and you pull some crap like this? Honestly who is running this?

Rabid? Desperate? Far more important things in the world to be concerned with than cry arsing for transfers. The event was taking place in the club shop, it wasn't going to be anything other than a kit launch, it was obvious from the day it was first announced. If you got so worked up into thinking it was anything else then that's your own fault
