*Sigh.* It was only a matter of time before someone got that dig in. Shame it had to be a member of the GoT admin team, though.

Glad to have you on GOT Ingwe. Stick around awhile and you will see a difference.

Mate, you knew it was coming though

It is what you get for letting Michael run the mailbag his way and censor anything remotely positive there.

FWIW Lyndon, you are the one person I like from over there. You have always come across as honest and forthright.

Suits, you're reading that little quip the wrong way, mate, and unfortunately it's indicative of the way people have made up their minds that ToffeeWeb is intransigently and persistently negative.

It was meant as light-hearted banter about a quirky article drawing comparisons with a dodgy 80s soap opera. I was trying to say that while the premise was bizarre, I wanted to publish it anyway because it was upbeat, positive, and reflected the mood among Evertonians.

@Dylan, Michael is Michael, I'm not his keeper and as equal stakeholder in TW he will no doubt continue to call things as he sees them. He is but one voice in what is now, thanks to the increased reader input mechanisms, many voices.

I just feel that people take him way to seriously and propogate the "ToffeeWeb is anti-club, negative [Poor language removed]" myth all too readily.

As I say to everyone who criticises the stance of the site, submit your own article to put forward your own views.

While I'm here, I've been in contact with Danny on and off over the past few months and more support for the Forum from TW is in the works. In the meantime, carry on :)

Cheers,

Lyndon

Who are you Sid James. Lyndon you don't get it mate even I am surprised by the level of ridicule TW is getting because of its editorial stance, smell the air man(n)(n)

perhaps after a duration of put downs, editorial belligerence, and overwhelming negativity that some of your comments are guilty by association.

if its unfair, then imagine how it is for the individuals on the outside of kenricks protective bubble.

Bluekipper isn't exclusively negative.

It has over 13000 members, with a good few hundred regulars. A lot of positivity there.

I am a Kipper migrant though :)

I don't think too many believe it is Tom but what about TW?

Good morning Darling.

I don't think too many believe it is Tom but what about TW?

Actually, I've always felt there was a big discrepancy between the Kipper main site (pretty neutral) and the Kipper forum which, depending on the topic could be rabidly negative and "anti-club".

Like I say, TW has its reputation and it's clearly not going to go away, despite our cross-section of columnists and regular contributors.

You have that reputation Lyndon because it has been earned. Start by changing the editorial direction, you can't act like Pilate by saying we have a cross section of columnists, that merely means you have those who will moan about the club constantly and those that moan about it less often, the central theme being they all moan and supporters are sick and tired of it

What Monty?

You act as if he's an equal stakeholder or something.

Clearly the words of someone who doesn't visit the site on a regular basis. Ken Buckley is a moaner? Rob Fox was a moaner? Just two examples of contributors from both now and a while back who do not fit your inaccurate characterisation of ToffeeWeb.

And if "supporters are sick and tired of it" no one would bother turning up at the site, would they?

The truth is that there is room for praise and criticism, support and analysis and to suggest that TW only offers the negative is just plain wrong. I don't see anyone branding Kipper as negative even though their forum is packed full of moaners on any given day. Likewise, WSAG has its own share of contributors who dare to criticise and NSNO, well I know what some on here think of NSNO...
