a little optimism going into tomorrow

I've been shaking all night just thinking about the game, a lot of us are worried, and i'm no exception, but i really can't wait for it.

i think that right now, believe it or not, we're in a perfect position to shine. we always seem to rise to the occasion when our backs are against the wall. think about the last time we had a youngster starting up front by himself (i think it was the last time), when we had to play vaughn up front against chelsea. that was arguably one of his best displays, our whole team seemed to play excellent in that game, and we grinded out a result (we probably should have won).

so i am a little bit optimistic, very few probably expect us to win, and lord knows we very rarely beat villa at all, but it seems we're the kind of team thats most deadly when cornered.

so far i've rarely seen anichebe given a large chunk of time and disappoint, this lads been waiting for this opportunity his whole life and i think theres a very good chance we'll be watching a future everton legend get his name known tomorrow.

something about moyes' words, how he didn't beat around it at all, saying some players may have to play injured. rather than buying our way out of our problems, he expects every player to dig deep and push on, and that sort of mentality seems to be completely missing in football today. so i look forward to watching the boys in blue go out there tomorrow, and hopefully working harder than villa, because that's really what's going to win this game for us, and at the very least we know there's gonna be a show(y)

I think we'll win tommorow. 1-0 to the Blues...

Mikky will step up and dictate. Our midfield is going to be boss tommorow, mark my words.

I'm a bit more optimistic to be honest. Moyes' attitude seems to be much better than it was. When the boss is ready for a scrap, we usually come out pretty well.

2-0 to us. (y)

When did villa suddenly become so good, they have a good young team who can be very inconsistant. as tb says if arteta is in the midle we will boss the midfield.
moyes picks his best side in the correct positions: everton 2-0
moyes goes negative with neville holding:villa 1-0

lets see what the tactical genious comes up with:huh:

Think we're going to win this one. Don't believe for a second that Villa are that much better than us. Personally enjoyed the match against Spurs last Sunday and hope Everton turned the corner in that match. 2-0 to the mighty Blues!!!

Depends which team shows up, Spurs away or Wigan away. It doesnt matter how well teams who come to Goodison play, its all about us. Some1 needs to smash that Gabywhore out the game, then it will be easier.

The players need to take responsibility today and take the game to Villa. I have no doubts we can beat them if we play to our best.
