No Friday pints for me tonight, got to pick the wife and daughter up from the theatre later, and I had a skinful last night, which was a bit naughty really.
O’Neill’s Liverpool is a brilliant bar.
Last time i was in they had loaded smiley faces on the menu, helped cure the hangover.
Everything just goes out of the window on the run up to Christmas.

And surprisingly scallie free considering where it is too.
It feels like I have grown up in that bar. Well for the last 20 years anyway. Brilliant staff, good beer and food and always a bit of craic.

Last time I was there, the Saturday before Spurs, a Scandinavian stag party was in and they were the entertainment themselves. Very drunk but very good natured and it was great to join in for a while.
I like the Empire as well for a quieter pint. Perfect location too for the taxis across the road. Prime spot in there is right at the window to watch the delights of Hanover Street.
