Indeed, we've been on a downward slope of acceptability and jock room "bantz" for some years, it wasn't covid that did it, it was already happening but it certainly exacerbated it. Like a lot of things, it runs parallel with money, and the suffering that the banks doled out in 2008. Reactionary tory pummelling, the rise and rise of farage, and now nothing left in the larder, and some stupefying decisions.
When enough of the people converge with the attitude 'government doesn't work for me!', we get this descent into the gutter. Historically getting out of the gutter has usually cost millions of lives. Sorry the serious tone to my reply. I've no answers really, it's only getting worse.
