A fair bit of love for Ronald on this table

I'm much more confident with this management than the last two regimes. Sure, we have some predictable results in certain matches. There have even been stretches of stale performances. I'm still confident that Ron will get the points that he needs to get. Once we get a lead, we rarely let it slip. We have been dominant at home which is also a great sign. If we get the players we need to get in this window, we are on track to break into the top 4. We cannot choke in this window, and we need to find a solution for the Coleman problem. Half a year is a long time to be missing a key player.

I would question why they downed tools, while several times I do recall them being awful under Moyes I don't recall them ever once downing tools as such, same under Walter Smith. Again we were poor at times during that Wally era but also had a few good moments, such as a few 4-0 wins, winning at Anfield and one period when we beat Arsenal and Chelsea within 7 days, but during the bad times I don't recall the players downing tools, just being very bad at playing football. I'm just glad we didn't down tools in the 90s when we needed to stay up on the last day.
If they did down tools under Martinez for me it shows how bad his managerial direction was, he wasn't someone who deserved respect. While under Koeman certain players who don't want to sign contracts to stay at the club, don't even look like downing tools and are willing to still play and show the manager the respect he deserves, even if they see there own futures elsewhere
Regardless of the manager, none of these players should be downing tools. should still play to the best of their ability for the fans and do the job they're paid to do. too many excuses made for the players now a days
