Some sources are better than others, Ornsteins record is pretty stellar and is not really considered a click bait merchant.

But you are indeed correct to not believe a single thing you ever read and in this world of misinformation, we cant even trust what we see.

It’s a funny one because if you believe what a small group of journalists/ bloggers write they are the shadiest guys in the world and the death of our club.

However if you didn’t follow those accounts this would appear to be a very straightforward undramatic process of them agreeing a deal and then proceeding through the necessary approvals.

As with everything I guess the actual truth is somewhere in between.

Without knowing what criteria the FCA use to vet the football club buyers it’s impossible to take anything from this other than it’s face value.

The only saving grace is that the PL will take in non-financial information to determine suitability. And as we’ve seen, they tend to make things up as they go.
