To be fair I was broadly in support of the invastion at the time but with hindsight it wasn't well thought through and wasn't based on accurate intelligence.

I believe Blair was doing what he thought was best as well, I just think it's difficult to find a way to put the invasion into a positive light.

Believe it or not, I agree with you on the hindsight part. It's plain to anyone no matter what side of the aisle you're on that many parts of the War on Terror could have planned and conducted quite a bit better.

While I'm a hard core right winger over here, even I see the shortcomings of our President. He certainly isn't perfect and has his warts like everyone else.
