6 New Players???

Right, Moyes has said he knows he needs more players. Everyone knows it, he has said.

Ok, so that's established, the club are aware of the issue.

Moyes has also said he hopes to get in 5 or 6 players before the season starts. We know Moutinho is likely to be one. Possibly this M'bia kid too. Both young lads (22), so good prospects. Now, or are the other 3 or 4 players? I keep seeing this Milito name, but nobody is really talking about him.

That still leaves 3 more players at most. Now realistically, if Moyes does get those other 3 players - that will be around £25m spent. Which I presume we would of had anyway despite the AJ sale. So we must still have 10-15m available for 3 other players, of whom I expect Moyes will spend wisely. Possibly a couple of loan to buy players, and maybe a championship gem too.

The next two weeks have to be exciting, and I'm gutted that I am going to miss the opening game.

I think 2/3 will be key players and then the rest will be squad players who can come in and out and perform well.

We have to start signing players as soon as possible, the problem is we don't even seem close. No medicals, not fee's agreed nothing other than rumours really.

The Moutinho is 50/50 at the moment. The fact that where only willing to pay 20 million Euros tell me we aren't going to get him, pay the [Poor language removed] fee and stop wasting time. If not leave him and buy Fernandes.

When asked if he could see any imminent movement in the transfer market - Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Moutinho tops the wanted list - Moyes replied: “Not at the moment, no. We are in a poor, poor situation regarding going forward.”

Cheer up man. You don't know what deals are going on. Remember Yak and Peanuts, they were well quiet until they happened.

Suddenly, like overnight, we're [Poor language removed].
Moyes was either lied to yesterday, or him and the club put on a front yesterday.
Sounds bad anyway.

Hmm, that doesn't sound too good. Funny it never got printed on the OS? I think it may have been misquoted, judging by the fact Dominic King was the instigator it wouldn't surprise me.

You know me mate, I'm usually quite positive but what Moyes has said has really got me down. Something must be going on, nothing seems to be coming off.

plus Moyes said he hadn't even heard of the rumours we were re-signing fernandes and two days later he signed.

Hes not going to say yes we have sorted out a fee to alert other clubs.

I have all of a sudden got a bad bad feeling. Why has Moyes changed his tune? All accounts he's in a really bad mood. Looks pissed off in that interview too.

Could he be emailing the club as we speak with his resignation? WTF? One moment he's happy Wyness is off cos he's going to sign the contract - the next he's saying were in a poor poor situation.
