would the rule change help us ? Pretty much accepted whatever the rules go to the big 6 will always get an adavantage but just got to hope now with the stadium nee owners we can push on to be a team just under the 6

It depends how it’s implemented and how you calculate the costs. I think it will come in, but without the anchoring, so similar to the UEFA squad cost ratios. With the stadium and the new sponsorship revenue streams hopefully we will be better off anyway.

Everton's wages on the accounts are 137m, 133m when they take out some of the management. They list total staff costs at 157m, but then 20m is social security and pension.

The issue is thats all 500 staff members, and the new rule would be just the wages of players...Id bet the actual wages would be something a little higher than what Spotrac has, around 85-90m. In the PSR hearing they revealed we planned to sell 8 players, and save 37.7m wages on them. If you average that our 20 players it comes out to around 95m. Id suspect thats high, as we were probably planning to sell higher wage earners.

TLDR: Id guess wages for the purpose of the 85% ratio are probably around 85-90m.

I reckon if its just first team squad it will be just north of 100 million.
