6 + 2 Point Deductions

This isnt over... there is still a second breach to this that has been deferred and not heard yet... still could get even more points deducted

Second, at a later time, the Commission will determine whether there has been anyfurther breach of the PSR in respect of: (a) the retrospective capitalisation of £6,561,000in FY21 and FY22 and (b) the capitalisation of interest relating to FY23, as alleged bythe PL’s amendment. Accordingly, a further hearing will follow. It therefore remains tobe determined whether Everton has exceeded the Upper Loss Threshold by any furtheramount regarding the interest capitalised in FY21, FY22 and FY23. We accept that thisdefers the resolution of part of this dispute. The Commission is acutely aware that thereare many stakeholders – to name some: the PL, Everton, the Everton fans, all other-8-Premier League clubs, the public – interested in the speedy determination of thesedisciplinary proceedings. Nevertheless, in fairness to the parties in these proceedings, the Commission decided that the issues which remain cannot be dealt with inaccordance with the timetable set out in the Standard Directions. The StandardDirections will not, therefore, apply to the remaining issues
Presumably then that would have to go into next season

Now we know. Two more wins for us / 6 more points and it means Luton and Forest BOTH need 9 points to finish ahead of us.

This is massively in our hands. If we cannot get the points we need from such a favourable set of fixtures rhythm then we've only got ourselves to blame.

Today is just another day to remember Bill Kenwright and what he has done to this football club.
-rhythm (predictive text plus Everton have no rhythm)

It's a better statement than the last one which was a complete joke

But the word "pleased" should be absolutely nowhere near an official club statement right now. I'm embarrassed to see it in the statement.

There is nothing to be happy about after being docked 8 points through an unfair and inconsistent process which was shambles from the very start

Beat me to it.

Absolute buffoons.

No wonder we're the leagues whipping boys.

Whole comms team need binning.

Welp finally rid of the uncertainty.

I am actually relieved it's less than 3.

Appeal it, cross fingers for an improvement in some way, otherwise grit teeth and get our crap together. Time for the grim part of the relegation battle.

I think we've got of light with 2 as well, i genuinely thought we'd get four + and be on the same points as Luton.

Still, lash in an appeal.
