Which is correct but was actually the right decision to make. It would have been (another) complete circus had we held on to those arrangements. So there is some mitigation but get into bed with dubious Kremlin liked characters and ultimately this sort of mess can unfold.

Spending £7m sacking lampard, £10m+ on the Maupay debacle etc means we probably aren't going to get an enormous amount of sympathy.

We could have made different choices and avoided putting ourselves in this position.

When you say persuade, do you mean give strong mind altering drugs?

I do think the structure is being changed or art least efforts are being put in place. But what is going on around that makes it an impossible task. If we can find a way to tread water that work might pay in a few years and we could potentially look to a more progressive option. Assuming the club still exists.

What do you mean? It's a three-year period calculation/assessment. The punishment we got this season, was intended for last season, but we managed to drag it by claiming that we needed more time to prepare. We knew if we got a deduction last season, we were done.

The reason it wasn't concluded is because the Premier League didn't have formal procedures or rules around timeliness beforehand.
