6 + 2 Point Deductions

Just to make it clear, I am discussing the second charge.

And from what I understand, Moshiri hasn't been funded the club since the Russian invasion. Otherwise, we wouldn't be in a position to beg for loans from Metro Bank/Rights & Media/MSP/777.

Since this is registered with Companies house, we can be pretty certain when debt is converted into equity. Last time this happened was January 2022 when Moshiri took on a further £100 million of shares in lieu of debt owed to him. And since this did not happen at all during the latter part of the period of the second charge, I think it is not unreasonable to think that while our loss may have been brought down to less than 105m over the three season period, the Premier League is not satisfied that the owner is able or willing to fund the club.
Our latest accounts arent registered with companies house yet.

The commission report clearly states 105m as the threshold, so Moshiri has 100% been "funding" the club regards the PSR aspect.

As an accountant, with historic experience of football accounting, I have to read innumerable dry technical, ethical, empirical articles as part of CPD requirements to remain a member of the Institute . Constantly. Every year for years.

I have never read, dissected and memorised anything to the depths you have read another clubs report from an independent commission. You aren’t wrong, and you post with care and decorum. But Christ almighty. Let Everton fans panic and make stuff up for their own wellbeing.
As I said the other day my working background included dealing with discipline matters and appeals so when I read reports I list key points and Evertons written reasons were actually quite easy to summarise. CAS written reports are far from easy by comparison
We’ve basically self reported and worked with the Premier League for 2 years, so good luck with that one.

It doesn’t matter if it was under Abramovich either, it’s the club that’s guilty not the owner according to the Premier League.
Of course it doesn’t matter who the majority shareholder was or is Chelsea are the entity under the spotlight

Everton didn’t self report at all the written reasons go into some detail explaining the PLs involvement.

But why would Everton have to if it’s the Premier League who are punishing them?

10 points back and the second charge dropped is our only hope. The whole club is being killed by this process
Wont happen on either, i would be very sery surprised. We are trying to draw our way to safety, which would be ok ish, if we had 10poins back. But people and now the players slowly saying it that the deduction is effecting them, means nothing. As we will surely go through same thing again in a month till any verdict from that 2nd charge is announced, which could be another say month from the hearing ending to verdict etc. We should be trying to win every game no matter what
