Depends on the appetite of DCMS and the cross part committee as to how far this all goes. If somehow they uphold the 10 points or fudge it with a reduction and a further penalty to keep it above 10 then the brand damage along with masters job being at risk will be terminal.

The whole episode is a disaster for him and regardless of the arguing of if we were bang to rights or not, the saying “any publicity is good publicity” doesn’t apply in this case. Masters cartel operates best in the shadows but this sorry episode has shown a light on the shambles of an organisation that runs the beautiful game.

Reputational damage is something executives are acutely aware of. Masters seems to be absolutely incompetent in spotting the optics or is just a puppet under the control of other “masters”

I think we will end up with 16 points deducted in total with Forest getting 6. Survival will be dependent on us finishing above Sheff United, Burnley and Forest. Sadly I think we will fall 3 or 4 points short

Partly, and I would hope that this would rule out anything like the 10 point punishment for the first breach (I don't think there should be points deductions at all but that's beside the point). However the losses for 2022/23 will be bad enough for it not to be brushed aside as the 'same offence'.
