It's bollocks.

When there is a breach of the rules it is the responsibility of the Premier League Board to lay charges against any club that breaches the rules.

In this case, the Premier League has a responsibility to outline what rules have been breached and suggest an appropriate punishment.

That is what they did. The irony is that the IC over ruled the PL and came up with a harsher punishment.

Can you point out in the PL handbook where it says that in relation to a PSR breach and,if it does exist,why is there not a punishment already laid down as with any club going into administration.

I go back and forth trying to second guess what the PL will do with our appeal. Currently thinking they’ll troll us by accepting the appeal, and knock it down to 9 points in line with an administration penalty.

I think we will get it reduced but not by much, probably to 6 points as i think thats straight of the bat for breach of the PSR which we all know we have breached.

I feel very angry about the entire situation today.

We had to sit behind Chelsea for 20 years while they spent Abramovichs billions whilst winning league titles. How come no one complained about this?

We lost to a club today with a billion in debt who've crushed our spening yet it's us that effectively has been handed relegation under the name of finanical fair play!

Would love to see the Government step in.

Why would there be any punishment outlined?

The whole point of the PSR rules is that the PL intervenes to ensure no team ever breaches PSR. If we had been owned by any rational owner then we wouldn't have breached PSR.

The report makes it abundantly clear why we breached PSR because we misled the PL.

I wouldn’t hold your breath mate, they made the Premier League allow Saudi Arabia to take over Newcastle. Shows where their priorities lie.
