If we do get points back we'll get them if we're out of the relegation zone by a few points to make it less 'controversial'.

Is there an argument for the club to not appeal and avoid hope being handed to us from that which players might lean on too hard and not get the points we require on the pitch?

I think it will have to be confirmed either way in the next couple of months. The later it gets, the more unhappy the other teams would be if we get some/all of the points back.

I hope you're right Mike. Personally, I see it as a long shot. I;ll be amazed if get anything reduced.
I believe there's a certainty to the PL and their flunky commissions and appeal panels and they want us to struggle all season and preferably get relegated.
They want our head on a pike staff as proof they get tough.
If we can get this case to a court of law we win. If we cant then we're getting precisely f.a. from this appeal.
