6 + 2 Point Deductions

I think our smartest bet is to develop the other dock into a hotel in case PSR rears its head again and we can sell our hotel to ourselves. Seems like a proven method to me.
I wouldn’t rule out that’s some of the consideration in the rumours of the women’s team potentially playing at Goodison. The value of the women’s squad with a 40.000 capacity stadium as an associated asset could be sold off to a linked Friedkin company as Chelsea did.

I hope not. I love that for now Goodison is still being used for football. So iconic and keeping her going is a tribute to her importance 💙.

So with this Burnley nonsense still rumbling on, if we end up have to weigh them out some of Texan Dan’s $$$, where does that leave every other team that has dropped points v City and ultimately been relegated.
Equally doesn’t any club that dropped points and subsequently league positions also have a claim against any team guilty of breaching PSR? Each spot is worth £2-3m or whatever.

Ps hope Burnley go into administration and cease to exist the absolute gang of snitching whoppers.

I'm hoping we get them in our first home game. Welcome in our new home with a big win and bring them down to earth. We should deny them any corporate hospitality as well. Their directors can eat and drink on the team bus.

I guess seeing that his mismanagement of the club is the reason for this thread existing, then i may as well post this here.

Anyway there was a book recently released by Richard Buxton, called the Worst Run Club In The Country. It's looks back at the entirety of the Moshiri era at Everton and the ensuing chaos.

It's weird this guy almost led us to ruination as a club, but in securing that new stadium Farhad Moshiri was also our most influential owner since Sir John Moores in the 60's imo.

I’m more and more believing the theory that Moshiri expected endless funds to cover everything prior to the invasion of Ukraine and had no contingency plan for the shadow funds evaporating. I’m glad we’re clear of the whole regime.

In other words really once Usmanov the actual money man was sanctioned Moshiri's goose was well and truly cooked.

I just hope we don't just lie down and hand them a fat stack, we've been punished for this and lost out on near 12 million ourselves... The fact that our punishment didn't benefit them shouldn't be any of our concern and it's certainly not our fault. They have to prove that us spending 19.5 million more than we should have over 3 seasons caused their relegation which is impossible to prove while also them going from 54 points in the first of those seasons to relegated on 34 points in the 3rd of those seasons, they declined by 20 points in the same 3 years yet have the neck to blame us for them going down.
