Chicken and egg though mate, if there isn’t the crowd, then there isn’t the sponsors or TV.
Again, yes and no. The crowd at the ground ultimately plays a big part in the experience/atmosphere, which in part is an element of what makes x-club what it is.

But to use the Arsenal example again, Emirates will pay them huge money to get their name on TV around the world rather than exposure to someone at the game.

The shirt sales around the world generate that too. Whether we like it or not, match going fans have a role, but it's limited.

But who buys the TV subscriptions etc mate….

I gave up on Sky, beards ago and I love football, but I know they are part of the problem and ruining the game. I love football so I should be an easy sell. Yet just can’t collude with it anymore.

Ultimately if they loose the masses, it all falls away.

I think it’s a good point. If football looses its ability to identify with the masses and becomes to elite and people switch off the market plummets.

Take the NFL, the lowest priced ticket for the Superbowel I saw was 10k and you’d binoculars to see the game, I don’t think football tolerates that and if it does it will loose huge swaths of the market.

Every year that passes football becomes competitive and less Romantic, I love football, but bar pure obsession with Everton it’s hard work.
Ew

Another mitigation. It was the PL who banned him from playing for us yet he came out as innocent. So if we had sued him then surely he would have sued us back
No it was the FA who suspended him then we sacked him as he couldn't fulfil his contractual obligations to Everton.

Bizarrely Yves Bissouma was allowed to continue to play for Brighton having been bailed after a sexual assault charge.
