By that logic Tories would never win an electionSeeing as 14 (is it?) from 20 teams need to agree to new rules, surely there can be no way that any new rules brought in can benefit the 'big 6', right? Wouldn't make much sense would it for clubs agreeing to rules that make it impossible for them to ever close the gap to the bigger boys?
You missed off Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and the 2 Manchester clubs who have no intention of letting anybody close the gap.Palace, Luton, Wolves, Bournemouth, Fulham, Forest, Sheff Utd, Burnley and Brentford aren’t interested in closing the gap.
They literally own a whole country Matty mate.off topic here but seen the article on who owns each club on bbc footy page?
didn’t know PIF are worth 700-900 billion
wow

Think Chelsea, Newcastle and Villa would be the only teams to vote to remove FFP.
Just read that... Was surprised how many teams are part of multiple ownership.off topic here but seen the article on who owns each club on bbc footy page?

777 gonna reduce their shares in others to pay for us I wonder. Then again, only an issue if playing in Europe. So, probably not.
The new rules will still benefit the big six, but probably to a lesser extent than they do now - I think there is a different threshold for teams not in Europe which will help close the gap slightly. So they might get voted for not because they are brilliant, fair rules, but because they are at least less bad than they are now.Seeing as 14 (is it?) from 20 teams need to agree to new rules, surely there can be no way that any new rules brought in can benefit the 'big 6', right? The current ones aren’t benefitting them enough apparently, which is why they’re being changed. The new rules will still benefit the big six, but probably to a lesser extent than they do now - I think there is a different threshold for teams not in Europe which will help close the gap slightly.
