6 + 2 Point Deductions

I would imagine we brought super silk in due to his expertise (To quote - Generally recognised as one of the leading silks at the Commercial Bar, Laurence Rabinowitz KC has a wide ranging commercial litigation and arbitration practice, which includes expertise in banking and finance, company law, energy, civil fraud, competition and professional liability cases).

My guess is that this fella can pull their entire process to bits with a goal of having the whole thing quashed and no punishment required whatsoever. This guy will have dealt with a lot more dodgier organisations than the PL and small clubs Masters.

You realise what an unholy mess this is when you look at the remaining games for us and other teams down the bottom - and realise you have NO IDEA what anyone needs to do in order to stay up.

I've loosely got us finishing on ~33 points (assuming 10 points total deduction) but whether that will be enough depends on Forest's potential deduction, our appeal, our further charge, and then THAT appeal as well.

Just a terrible, terrible mess initiated by the idiots who run the league. The likes of Masters must be feeling pressure to resign. You have one of the biggest, most glamorous brands in the world, awash with money and adored around the world, and you reduce it to this entirely through your own hubris, arrogance and greed.

100%

It's taken 3 months to get our appeal looked at. To which a decision will be made "mid-feb".

Then it's Forest and our 2nd go. April is that decision. Appeal it and it rolls into next season.

Around 16 games left and due to the incompetence of the people that run the league... there'll be a cluster of teams waiting for a verdict rather than what the score is at the final whistle.

If Super Silk gets 5 points back we need to be naming a section of the new stadium after him as he might be the difference between us playing in the Premier League and the Championship. That said, we'll probably get relegated next season instead.

I have got a horrible gut feeling that we will end up like Sunderland, lovely new stadium but crap team .

Spot on mate.

I doubt very much that the PL will have had the foresight to think " how are we going to defend this, if it get`s challenged " .

Their only goal seemed to be, to prove that there was no need to appoint an independent regulatory body and to show the world, that they could police the league themselves.

It was a knee jerk judgement and this fella, with his expertise, should be able to rip them and their findings to threads.

I shudder to think what his fees will be at the end of this though.

I still want a complete 10 Point Return and for the PL to be shown as unfit for purpose with a massive media spotlight on their failings and ad-hoc approach to this whole sorry affair.

*then again i also wanna be Elvis Presley and that, sadly, is more realistic !

Players, manager and definitely fans have preserved top flight football two season in a row. This season, thats probably not going to be enough as it currently stands; if the 10 point sticks there will presumably be same or slightly smaller second one to come. Everything hangs on this week’s appeal which is unreal for a “sport”. Not a ball in sight.

We will probably end up in breach of the rules again due to his fees
