I see Carragher has piped up with his usual “blame morishi” distraction.

He is absolutely culpable in the PL cover up on this and part of their media machine through Sky. The club shouldn’t entertain this whopper and it’s a disgrace we have him either in the studio or on commentary during our games especially as he thinks he’s some RS special reporter on all things Everton. Don’t give a toss he claims he supported us as a boy, he’s a RS and as bad as all of them at the cartel.

Blaming owners and board members who have left does nothing and doesn’t change the fact the club remains to be in a mess that we the fans have to deal with, yes mosh is still here but he checked out long ago.

Why is it fine for Chelsea to get away with blaming “sins of the past” and “don’t punish the fans” yet we should take all punishment that we get?

The guy is an absolute fraud and along with Neville and the rest of them, part of the whole problem with football

I think to start with they had significant financial reserves from which they paid much of the enabling work. Then then seem to have been able to borrow money commercially for the build . Yes ENIC seem to have pumped money in but their whole project seems to have been a model of financial planning

Levy put £250mill of his own money in to start it off from what I've read.

Again, I'm only trying to see the difference in the two.

So far while Spurs got the majority from commercial loans towards the build, Moshiri put in almost 50% of it then took commercial loans to cover club operations. His reasoning is that was the cheaper option in regards to repayments.

But we've still come to the same figures spurs have ended up with - £30mill loan repayments, and close to a billion in debt.

In relation to P&SR though...the whole thing IMO should just be classed as infrastructure regardless of how it's funded. But the league feel the commercial loans fall under permitted losses

Exactly. Shows how firstly how poorly informed those outside the club are and secondly how there’s a clear media briefing to double down and deflect from the gravy train that is the PL.

Your post goes from having a go at Carragher for blaming Moshiri/board, to then complaining that it’s fine for Chelsea to blame their previous owners and get away with no punishment as a club/fan base but not for us. If he is blaming the owner/board, then surely you are in agreement?

I’m no Carragher fan but he has spoken about the injustice of the points deduction several times.

This is also what concerns me with the new rules / structure changing in the summer ie to 70% of turnover. Depends how quickly they enforce these new rules or give teams a season or so to adjust.

Or could it be a possibility if we are still in the EPL next year that they punish us for a third time based on new rules if we do not cut our cloth in the summer?

Gomes, Dele and Young gone this summer which will be a good amount off the books but I guess we will find it difficult to strengthen.

I'm guessing if they go with the 70% it would be staged so probably 80% for the 24/25 season and 70% for the 25/26

Spitty proper deflected the jist of the committee meeting and had a go at the chair for her dig and line about “you don’t know what you’re doing!”on x.

He may have said supportive stuff in the past but he was miles off yesterday, and has potentially been muzzled by sly sports.

Shame he wasn’t similarly muzzled when grocking over that young girl from his car.
