5th signing of the summer - your prediction

3 weeks till the season starts. Are we going to sign more players? I would say yes. Since the transfers made by Martinez were so predictable this summer, I will go for Aiden McGeady as our 5th signing of the summer.

What is your prediction? The 5th signing of the summer is not someone you want the club to sign but one who you think is a likely target. Come 31/8 and see if anyone has made the right prediction.

I'll be depressed if we don't bring in anyone better than McGeady between now and 2nd September.

I don't think we will be given any more money to bring anyone in. Will bet on that aswell.

Don't think there's any more to spend. Unless we sell baines/Fellaini i think it will be a loan. If we do sell I think it'll be McCarthy plus a baines/Fellaini replacement.

If we have big money in our wallet, I'm more than sure that RM wants McCarthy.
If not, a CM from La Liga or Ligue 1. Who is a hard question, since we haven't really been linked firmly with anyone except for McCarthy. But I have the feeling RM is looking at the two leagues mentioned.

James McCarthy. I think RM will have made him a priority signing and he won't want to see the lad snapped up by Newcastle.

If he fails then possibly the Jorginho lad from Hellas Verona.
