I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories, but there's something seriously sketchy about 5G. The cell towers are gonna start popping up in every street and the effects haven't really been tested on humans yet.

My Sumac tree looks to be dying this summer. I'm going to have to check the roll out of 5G in our area.:D

In answer to his question "yes".

I live nowhere near any 5g tower and I have had a tree do the exact same thing. It's either a disease or the tree isn't taking on enough water. Most likely root root. It's possible for random roots to die first on one side to affect that portion of the tree.

Or it could be the elements (wind) that hit it from one direction. Strong winds can do this they batter it.

There are plenty of websites and pages on the subject and any arborist will tell you.

Given that the guy in the video thinks that the branches with leaf's are called bushes he is not exactly an expert.

This is the thing. Most of the people peddling the 5g theory are normal Joe's with no expertise in the technology or any related engineering and science.

They purchase cheap equipment and wave it around and then post their "evidence".

Look back and I bet most of them probably complained about 4g, microwaves and our actual cell phones.

Is it 5g working at the same bandwidth as the brain where the issues are lying?
That's a new one. Their main conspiracy argument is the ionizing and non ionizing wavelengths. Can't remember which one 5g falls under and which one is dangerous but they claim that It can damage the brain because of the waves.

I'll look up the pages and pages of research on it and post it later. I had them saved for other work inwas doing in the automation field.

It mainly hogwash and it stems just like before with the older tech and the wifi bandwidth testing way back about rats dying.

What frequency band/range will 5g work in mate?

I’ve worked with ehf frequencies from masts for years but it’s all direct waves to satellites so not harmful unless your licking the transmitter.

I won’t be losing sleep over this but interested to see what tests get carried out and how close the masts will be to each other and to housing developments.

Apparently the same bandwidth 600mhz to 6ghz.

It will then go above 6ghz but in a submillimeter and millimeter format.

Most of the conspiracy people think it's getting close to weaponised type stuff as the military us above 96ghz.

But that is flawed as a) it wont get that high nor will it need to and b) it will probably use the sub system and not the regular millimeter system which the military use. But because the millimeter range starts at 24 that's why there is a fear.

Ok gotcha. Won’t be harmful to anyone more than living close to a nuclear power sub station. Small doses are fine even over a prolonged period.

A good friend of mine is a Telecoms Engineer and works on installing infrastructure for things like this and fibre optics etc.

His take is that it’s scaremongering.
There were similar claims when 4g and 3g infrastructure was installed. Not to mention everyone was claiming that mobile phones themselves were going to give us all cancer a few decades ago.

Of course it would be stupid for any telecoms company to go ahead with 5g if there was any chance of it being a serious threat to human health. The resulting mass legal actions would be enough to cause serious damage to any of them.

For what it’s worth.
