5 years ago today we lost a Legend and our Greatest manager

Always be fondly remembered. He wasn't just a manager , he is part of everton's DNA now.

Speaks volumes when even now we can tell our kids how great he was, that day against united was just wierd. It was almost like noone cares about the game that day and it showed .
It saddens me that an entire generation of Everton fans have not experienced those halcyon days, when we really were a wonderful team under his tenure.

An idol.
 
Besides the memories he gave,which will stay with me until my dying days,the thing that stands out is how much he was loved by his players,by other people in the game,ask Blackburn,Preston,Stoke etc how they feel about him and you dont hear a bad word from anybody,that,as much as his success shows you the kind of person he was
 
briefly met him. used to play Sunday league against his lad. think it was formby juniors he played for. Howard was kind enough to sign my scarf. seemed like a nice guy and was very supportive of his son on the sidelines
