With both having seemingly similar possibilities of happening, which would you prefer if ony 1 was attainable?

myself, having only seen us lift one trophy during my existence, would love F.A cup glory, also, i dont think we have the greatest amount of funds to compete in the champions league yet, as was proved in 2005.

So for me the F.A cup?

Always said the PL was more important than the FA Cup. Now that we are in the semi-final though, I desperately want to get the Cup to Goodison. So FA Cup for me and a nice 5th place finish.(y)

4th. Break up the top 4, bit more respect, bit more money, and more recognition internationally for finishing 4th. I feel the FA Cup despite being a huge trophy, has lost some of its magic - portsmouth won it last - does anyone respect them any higher?

Sorry for the harshness of my next comment.

WHO GIVES A FOOK ABOUT CHOICES, I WANT BOTH

The FA Cup. We are not going to get 4th place anyway but are capable of winning silverware for the first time since 1995.

Correct me if I'm wrong , but I think this year fourth place goes into an unseeded 2 legged qualifier - so we could potentially meet very hard opposition (see Villa real / standard Liege :@:@)

So for me it would defo be the F.A cup - With a fully fit squad - champions league qualification / winning the Europa league next year :D:D:D

No question in my mind that fourth would be far more satisfying. To me, the FA cup is a bonus. It's a good day out, a nice one-off occasion. The league is the real bread and butter, and like Moyes says, the true indicator of a season. Plus, although the FA cup is good when we're involved, it means nothing to me when we're not a success in it. I can't say that about either the league or the CL. Hate to say it, but the FA cup has become small-time now.

An F.A Cup win would be nice BUT given what Champions League qualification means both in terms of money and profile to bring in better players id have to go for 4th . Worldclass players do not join English teams just because they won the F.A Cup . They join to be challenging for the league and the Champions league
