Welcome to Barcelonaton FC
No not the Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte film (ace though it maybe) but I'm talking about the article on the toffeweb main page.

It reads and makes sense for those wanting answers.

But then again its all conjecture without a shred of proof to a point that it might as well say Moyes are a football shape alien in his arse...

Anyway, what do people think?

Ya believe it?

Do you mean......" Moyes, contract talks underway " ? It doesnt really say anything. This has been going on for a long time now. What more have they got to discuss ? Personal terms wont even come into the equation, so all it boils down to is the transfer kitty and the ambitions of the directors to match the managers ?

I dont know but the news on the Everton FC site now is taking the biscuit,

Lescotts lesson in booking his tickets on line WTF, this club is once again a close season joke.

Id wait and see every man and hisdog seems to know someone who knows someone who knows a friend of .and then states a knowing nodd at which ever side of the line they prefer(n)

This summer is turning out to be an absolute joke of the highest order.

Once again it also shows how incompetent and useless our board is.

Bullshit.

As if any one of note would take that fruitcake seriously.

It might well the go ahead. You can be sure of one thing, though, that feller who posted on TW has been 'informed' precisely [Poor language removed] all about it.

Cal, bide your time lad. This is Everton and this is how it always works. Anything earlier than now in the transfer window we're all pretty aware of before the signing happens. This is just par for the course.
I just hope he doens't pull another Kilbane out of the bag on the last day and expects a round of applause :S

Kilbane did us a job first season here. It's the Gardener and Ferrari last ditch signings that put egg on his face.

Really? he was only ever brought in as cover. If he hadn't come and then we had a couple injuries at the back then what would people have said??

It was a nonsense signing when we had 3 fit and healthy CBs with bags of experience.

And no left back fit, if lescott would have been pulled into the centre due to an injury there was no cover at full back. Glad your not in charge

Lescott, Valente and Baines not enough. Would that we had three for every position at Everton FC.

Gardner was a nonsense signing and the fact he never got a sniff of a game tends to prove it. I believe the signing was a boardroom [Poor language removed] up, not a Moyes one. Thanks Mr Kenwright.

I think Gardner was brought in as back up, if one of Yobo, Lescott or Jagilelka were injured we had no one with experience to step in for the subs bench.

He was a loan signing. He was brought here incase we had an injury crisis. Thankfully we didn't and he didn't have to pay. Good short term business by the club.

Stubbs left and we needed experienced cover. Gardner fitted the bill.
