Chico, do you think you could have the match thread up tonight or tomorrow? With it being a big game against rivals we can throw everything into that? And build up a discussion leading up to it over the next few days.

Any chance mate?

If we lose because Liverpool play boss and are the better team then its hard to take but I can accept it. That's why the Clattenberg derby hurt so much.

2-0 at analfield on the way to the title 1970 (Royle, Whittle)
1-0 Andy King 78
1-0 Sharpie past Bruce
2-0 Royles first game as manager

0-5 Glen Keeley 2-2 Maine Road 77 dishonourable 2nd

Ferguson's first goal/Royle's first game in charge (2-0, 1994)
Kanchelskis at Anfield (1-2, 1996)
Campbell at Anfield (0-1, 1999)
Carsley at the Gwladys (1-0, 2004)

Crouch rounding Martyn at the Park End (1-3, 2005)

The 5-0 at home was unbelievably horrible........ Believe me young blues ........ Can you imagine it?

I think there was even a Dogleash header wrongly given offside.

Anyway I hope that never happens again and would love to see any of the famous wins quoted before.

Failing that a lousy 1-0 in the last minute off aRS defender would suit me fine!

I actually only remember 4 derby wins so

1. Gosling 1-0
2. Andy Johnson 3-0
3. Lee Carsley 1-0
4. Arteta 2-0

Horror: The 3-1 at Anfield when Gerrard got sent off and we still done **** all.

When was our last boss derby at Anfield, also didnt stevie did a hattrick against us in kennys last league derby thats a horror dontcha think

i'm friends with a lot of norwegians and none of their english is this bad. wonder what land this creature is from with english like this?

Don't think I've been alive for 4 boss derbies tbh.

Andy Johnson v Reina was good.

Carsley's deflected goal.

Gosling's goal (JUDAS [Poor language removed]!)

Struggling to think of another.

- the 2-3 '89 cup final as it was the one that made me blue
- the 4-4 where we equalised every frakking time...YOU WILL NOT PASS! so so good
- the 3-0 with AJ, i'd just returned to germany after 15 years in blighty, got drunk on the streets of Pirmasens and ran, sang and laughed with Pirmasens FC fans who on the same day beat their local rivals...magic!
- Saturday 23.11.2013...it's on!

the Rodwell sending off..that crushed me like no other Derby rip-off...there was so much great energy in that game, from both sides...it was shaping up to be an absolute Classic. Rodwell was on his way to Legend status in that game...it was in the air. The list of refs that buggered up the derby in favour of the red team is endless...but this one hurt me the most.

Top of the list is Clive Thomas, and he always will be. Not even Battenburg comes close.
