It's excellent. There is action in there but it's mostly dialogue. I'm not sure whether you'd like it or not but it may be worth a try

The box set of 24, 8 series was £50 after christmas(not blueray) in HMV. Could be cheaper now though with it closing down.

No bad - perhaps more drama than action, but enough to keep you hooked. Plot holes you can a train through, mind. Important to avoid the spoilers!
