Sorry to be a down on all the excitement, the first series was a great concept and well executed, after that it just becomes a 'really another global emergency that has to be fixed within 24 hours by Jack Bauer?'.

The Muricans have an excellent way of milking a concept to oblivion and then continuing to milk long after the milk is gone, another prime example would be Lost.

loved that it happened so many times and yet they STILL never trusted Bauer's judgement. I was also hoping that he would make a quip in one of the seasons about 'oh no, not another one of THESE days' or something to give a little nod and wink to the audience saying 'yes, we know its all a bit redundant but stick with us here'.

trailers a bit weird, him going arghhhh and shooting made me laugh for some reason.

interesting that it looks to be set in the UK.

It wont be,

It will be JAck running round for a few hours, then getting a 12 hour flight over to America which just so happens to be armed with a nuke which is going to blow up half of chicago unless Jack can save the day.

On another note, i never finished the last series of 24 (or any of the 6th oddly enough) but loved that show and something like the above would defenitly make me watch.

I have heard from a source from within the studio that the plot will be the following;

It is august the 31st, It is a nice quiet day in London where nothing is happening then all of a sudden there is a phone call. Not any old call mond you, it is from the most diabolical and evil mastermind the world has ever seen. All they say to the CTU is 10 million pounds, or there will be trouble and then hang up. Jack is called to investigate the strange phone call and he finds how deep the rabbit hole goes. The mastermind, known as Biken is trying to aquire a weapon of mass destruction that will destroy manchester, London and Newcastle. The only thing that can stop him is Jack and he is running out of time.........

He finds out that Biken has sent his most trusted advisor to the foreign office to aquire foreign odcuments, which is a ruse for the media to pick up on. Meanwhile Jack races up the motorways after finding out where Biken has holed himself up, then he arrives outside the building, ready to have one final battle with the most devious man ever known and his secret weapon of mass destruction.

And the camera pulls away you see one thing..............Vinny o Connor outside Finch Farm.

Coming soon.
