Not a good run of things of late for Bastoni, very surprising from him - reminds me of Araujo's red vs PSG in CL. A tough position as a defender, your instinct is to try everything to prevent a 1v1 but has to be balanced by the circumstances (already up 1-0 and risking a red) - not the least of which is making sure to get the ball. Pitch might had some role to play in it as well, looks terrible and might have altered player's timing

Pleased for the Swedes. The Poles are almost always also-rans at big tournaments. They lack the humility their 1974-82 sides had. Not that the Swedes are likely to do too much themselves, mind.
