I would just ignore Everton and football until the government (of all people) enforce the morally correct decision through a ban. Absolutely no way I want to be associated with any club that stinks.

I’d absolutely prefer we didn’t have a gambling sponsor (and I say this as someone who for several years played poker for a living)

But as I’ve said before, I struggle to understand why people are quite so horrified by the idea when we had an alcohol sponsor for years and (aside from a few complaints about how you couldn’t get a ‘proper’ kids kit) VERY few people had a problem with it.

I don’t say this to lessen the struggles of people with gambling problems, but alcohol causes far more societal problems (statistically speaking) than gambling does.

I think, in my experience, that gambling is far more addictive than alcohol. I'd rather neither. Money is the root of this crap - the clawing grabbing greed of every club to sell their soul just to keep up with the next club doing the same. Long gone are the days of a local steel stockists being able to afford sponsorship.

Maybe I'm not aware of what evils he's been up to. Does he repeatedly target the poor and desperate to get their money with the mathematically false promise of riches, or has he acquired his wealth by selling materially tangible goods?
Do enlighten me.
