.....I should also mention that Just a Par is not guaranteed a run. Only the top 40 rated horses run, Just a Par is no43 on the list so needs 3 to come out to get a run.
Cheers mate
Out of intrest how likely would that be?
Or impossible to say?

....well there’s a horse called Joe Farrell that is one place above Just a Par and has been significantly backed in the last week so there are lots sweating on that one.

Some of the ones above are also entered in the Topham, but there’s only one Grand National. I’d say one coming out is likely, two coming out is possible and three coming out is unlikely but it will be close.

Thanks eggs!

.....been waiting on tomorrows declarations and they are just out.

Mentioned one on the Racing thread on Monday called Azzuri in the Red Rum Chase. I backed it last week at 50-1. I noticed it getting backed but it was still 33-1 when I posted on Monday. I logged on to my Corals account to back it again at 33s but in an instant it had gone to 20s so I left it. Within an hour it was 11-1. A proper gamble.

Problem was, it needed horses to come out to get a run but it’s got in. Chuffed i’m On at 50-1 but miffed I didn’t back it again given the plunge. I’ve also got Eamon an Cnoic in the race at 12-1. Both are now around 7-1.

Some bookmakers are now going ‘non-runner no bet’ (you get your money back if your horse doesn’t run)
Isn't that standard for all betting on horse racing? I don't bet any more but I'm sure I've always got a return for non-runners.

...nope, ante-post (early betting) provides bigger prices but greater risk because you don’t get your money back if your horse doesn’t run. I had a couple of bets in the last week for horses entered for tomorrow but they have been withdrawn so I lost my stake.
