At the very least the early Europa games might help our players shake off the holiday mood. Stoke has 1-1 written all over it though.

I'm being positive here. City will be thinking 'Everton first home game ffs', Lukaku will be getting boo'd by the Chelski fans by week two and go missing. Spurs are slow starters, and Manure are gash anyway. Champions by easter.
I just love the optimism on GOT.

At the start is probably the best time to play the big teams, we need to get a couple of wins in those first 5 though. Also, might some of those not get moved if we qualify for the Europa league?

Yes, if we make the Europa league play-off round then City and Chelsea should be moved.

Having browsed the fixtures, 14th October when we travel down to Brighton 8 games in will be that game. They will have lost every away and will have fine form at home, they'll beat us or it will be 0-0 and after Christmas they will lose almost every game.
NO, NO, NO.
(Apart from the bit about having lost every away game before and losing every game after)
No more defeatist talk regarding them please.

At this point the below has about as much relevance as the Cucomartina Cup.

That's a sad photo.

On the plus side, we're not playing a newly promoted side for the first few weeks. We always seem to get them early, before the optimism has disappeard.

After Arsenal in February, only City and Liverpool are left and they're both at home.

If we're in the run in for something, then that could be crucial.
