a wide striker perhaps....
AT THIS time of year most professional footballers have to forgo gourmand delights because a few extra pounds could mean the difference between holding or losing a place in the team. Adebayo Akinfenwa gave up worrying about such issues long ago.
Northampton Town’s striker — reputedly the heaviest professional player, goalkeepers aside, in the Football League — doesn’t just accept his weight. He delights in his substantial silhouette and markets it by serving as chief executive officer of the HaHa Brand clothing line.
Despite being only 5ft 11in, Akinfenwa tips the scales at 16st 7lb. That makes a robust trio of Premier League goalscoring luminaries in Kevin Nolan of West Ham (14st 2lb), Norwich’s Grant Holt (a mere 12st 13lb) and Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney (a round 13st) lightweights by comparison.
Behind the striker, he doesn't have a lot of pace but he's good on the ball and when i've seen him play there for Russia he's been far better than most of his recent appearances for Arsenal.
After the release of the accounts yesterday it is very obvious that unless Heitinga goes there will be only loans.
The sit and watch in amazement this summer as our prize assets are sold and Moyes has to build another side from the meagre proceeds he is given.
I'm pretty convinced that Moyes won't be here next year, to be honest.
The Daily Mail (yes I know) wrote that they might be willing to do a deal since he is not exactly pushing for a starting place.Livermore is a player for spurs future any loan is to get him more football. No chance of a perminate deal...what's the point blooding spurs youngster's...we've got our own to blood!
I'd take Dorrans on loan.

Wesley Sneijder on loan? WTF has happened to him, hasn't played since September apparently.
