2013/14 PREDICTIONS

I would love to hear your Guinness fueled reasoning to this.

here goes.....based on our opposition for fourth, given i've put the money clubs above us, Liverpool would I guess think their in with a shout,Suarez is gone this summer no matter what we read in the press.Stevie G is really not the player he thinks he is,after that ,I think they are fairly average.

Arsenal, need to spend real money if they are to meet their fans expectations.Wenger will be under even more scrutiny if they don't challenge.european football put heaps more pressure on a failing squad.would not be surprised to see Wenger gone come the end of the season.

Spurs,ok the obvious main rivals.can't see Mr Bale having as good a season as the one just gone by,people and coaches will work him out, ageing strikers, and don't they have a habit of blowing it at crucial times

who else do you want me to rubbish....

Everton...hold on to the current squad, and I do think there is a reasonable chance of that.a lot of press talk of Fellani moving on but hasn't that gone rather quiet.Baines is a blue, just think if he wanted to go to united he would have last year.we need a fella up front to put the ball in the net,if we had a striker who could have got us fifteen goals last season we'd have made fourth, wether that's Kone or not remains to be seen,RM is winning me over and i'm looking forward to an Everton side that goes on the park looking to win games rather than make sure not to lose them.

there, the Guinness notion in a nutshell....

Wait for the criticism I get for this but here goes... If fellaini is sold I think we will bring in the likes of a Fer or wanyama from Celtic and could also bring in Moses from Chelsea..I think jelavic will return to scoring ways..I think fellaini needs to be sold I think between him and Baines he is more dispensible.. I know this is Everton but it's good to dream!!

I think if Fellaini is sold we have a shout at the top 4. We can use that money to bring in a comparable midfielder and still have kitty left over to strengthen the squad. Yes, Fellaini is top class but I could do without the flopping and needless yellows too. If Baines goes, we're toast. He's too indispensable as far as our squad goes. All that said we'll probably finish 7th. It will be interesting though with the top teams spending big money. It doesn't always work.

One thing I'll be keen to see is how RM uses Ross Barkley. Depending on how his development is coming along he could be a dark horse for us.

I think this is going to be his breakthrough season. I know he is arguably the biggest talent since Rooney, but only so much nurturing can be done before you've got to throw them in the deep end. It gives me confidence as he had a class game against Arsenal away when he was thrown in the deep end, nearly scored a cracker to rival Rooney's debut goal too (it was almost meant to be, imagine if it had went in). I'm happy as no matter what happens, he will be a regular for us for years to come, the real thing on many people's lips is he going to turning out like Rooney (he certainly has the potential to do it) or will he end up like an Osman (not all players fully fulfil their potential, that's also not saying Osman didn't, he is a player he isn't the worst but isn't the best and has stuck with us for his career).

I'm arguably more excited about seeing how he turns out than the actual season!

At the moment 8th or 9th unfortunately. Not optimistic at all at the minute, hopefully that will change when the season starts

No idea really, but if I was to make an uneducated guess: Everton 6th, United to win the league, Stoke, Cardiff and Hull to go down.

RS to spunk a few more million on inadequate players - hopefully Arshavin for £20M if it's not too late to get him.

Frankly I have no idea what to expect as there is so much change already on the coaching side with the lielihood of ins & outs on the playing side. I fear a significant step back (10-12th). I hope for status quo (5th-8th), a cup and a continuation of recent improvement in the quality of football.

City, United, Chelsea, Everton, Arsenal, Spurs, Southampton, Swansea, Liverpool..

Or a variation of the above
