Brought back some memories. I was at Goodison for the Newcastle game. Got in a couple of minutes late and missed Cottee's first goal.

nice mate! i found Everton (or they found me) at the very tail-end of that season with the Cup Final, and the seasons thereafter Cottee was my favourite player. Since then always stuck up for his time at our club, despite a lot of blues mysteriously not liking him so much. He's per-goals-ratio our best striker during the near-30 year gap between Lineker & Lukaku.
