Looked tired today but arguably his best ever season for us. The only player with a contract expiring who's worth another season imo.

Still only 41 pages for his thread, despite him arguably having a very good shout for player of the season. Had to dig down to about page 4 of the homepage to find it.
People too busy bumping the threads of those they would be happy to see go!
But who are we replacing him with if as rumoured he leaves on a free for Saudi?
It's easier (and more interesting) to talk / argue about where we can improve. Gueye gives a +6 out of 10 every game and everyone knows it, nothing to debate really.
He'll be difficult to replace and agree with the person above about 2 players, probably need a defensive mid and a cm who's happy putting in a tackle to cover his work rate.

Agree we have to hope he stays if he is off means the rebuild is even bigger. He has basically held our midfield together
