Not a lot one can say.

Thoughts are with those who lost their lives in this shocking tradgedy.

with the loved ones and friends who survived them

And to the brave men and women of the New York fire and police departments and many civilians who took part in the rescue attempts.

It's the most emotional I've ever been in my life. Not ashamed to admit I cried off an on for days...weeks. I remember that day like it was yesterday.

Been deathly afraid of flying ever since. Actually got on a plane the next week and the plane was almost empty. It was spooky.

It still amazes me the bravery of the men and women that day. The entire gamut of the human condition was on display that day. Evil, sadness, fear, hope, heroism, terror, faith, loss, redemption. It's really hard to believe it's been 9 years...

Dont forget the men and women from fire and police departments of many, many other states.

I was in 2nd grade when it happened. Ill never forget it. Kids kept being called to the office to go home with their parents. All my teacher said was that there were some plane crashes. Then they released us from school after lunch and I finally heard what happened when I got home.

Sad the people that died, and have died in afghanistaton, Iraq and et al, since 9/11.

yes, lets get past the idiotic actions that have dominated the news recently and pay a moments respect to the people who had their lives taken away from them in an act of total blind hatred.

time does pass very quickly.

Sorry. I was initially thinking of the immediate aftermath but of course we shouldn't forget any people who helped. Don't know the details but Imagine forces from places like New Jersey were sent in

I watched an interesting show on the History Channel last night talking about how the FAA had to get all the planes out of the air on to the ground within a matter of hours. Fascinating piece.

About that day, I was getting ready to go into the office and turned on CNBC to see how the markets were getting ready to open up. They were showing the first tower burning and at that moment the 2nd plane few into view and hit the second tower.

An image I will never ever forget.
