Seriously. Dalton was pure crap. A Connery fan myself.

David Niven was the greatest ever bond.

Only because I managed to convice half of Weymouth 10 years ago that everyone up north says 'David Niven' instead of 'Don't know'.

It eventually morphed into 'I diven niven'. I imagine they are still walking round saying it today.

The fabulous Famke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp is easily the best woman in Bond.

Seeing as Bond is supposed to be dark haired, I'd have to say Brosnan was my favourite.

plaudits and accolades to all members who took the time to answer my Bond thread, I knew there were some interest around.

Just wanted to add,

Bond is supposed to be a English spy for the goverment, during the franchise he's been Australian, Scottish, Welsh and Irish.

Bond is supposed to be 35 by all accounts.

Lazenby was 29 when he played, Dalton was 40 when we took over, and Moore, wait for it, was 57 when he made his swansong in a view to a kill (1985)

A 57 year old Bond, a view to a buss pass more like it, Moore should of quit after Moonraker, the next three movies were kind of circus.

Everyone knows that bond drinks vodka martinis, in Die another Day, Bond orders a 'Mojito'.

I felt betrayed, and don't get me started on that 'invisible car' :rant:ycard

And, Bond goes surfing on huge CGI waves, Fleming would be spinning like a top.

I should point out there will not be a Bond film next year, it's being held off until 2011, so a long wait for the next one.

and that's not a bad thing, that's a good thing.
