He guarantees nothing mate
if people choose not to go just stop, Big Sam may well be our manager starting tomorrow morning if you don't feel you can continue to support the blues because of him fine, just stop you wont be missed.

For the Sam haters...here are some simple facts for you:
When Koeman was sacked: 18th, points from 7th = 7
When Moshiri decided to replace Unsworth with Big Sam: 17th, points from relegation = 2, points from 7th = 10
When Allardyce was officially appointed: 13th, points from relegation = 5, points from 7th = 9
Now: 9th, points from relegation = 7, points from 7th = 3
All I can see is improvement. He's moved us away from the threat of relegation largely due to his excellent first month here, and got us within 3 points of potential European qualification.
Now is it a significant improvement good enough for this club? Of course not. He's stubborn, refuses to take responsibility when things go wrong, has negative containing tactics, and he hasn't done anything to address the abysmal away form, other than getting that one good result at Newcastle.
Up to now, Moshiri can feel justified in appointing him given the situation we were in before he came in. He can also feel justified in moving him on in the Summer.
This has got more to do with Burnley only winning two games since Allardyce was appointed. For the Sam haters...here are some simple facts for you:

I see what you did there. Disingenuous at best. Clap clap.
And some can't allocate blame where it's due.Since those 6 games he has been a huge disappointment but some just can't give credit where it's due.

We beat West Ham, Huddersfield, Newcastle and Swansea mate, all of whom would have been considered contenders for relegation at the start of the season. So nothing to do with him coming in to a club that had just lost 5 in 8 under the caretaker manager, had the worst defence in the league and then put in an excellent run of form from nowhere for the first 6 games?
We'd just conceded 16 goals in the previous 6 games. He came in and we conceded 2 in the next 6 with 2 of the fixtures being against top 5 sides, most notably going away to face the RS at Anfield.
Since those 6 games he has been a huge disappointment but some just can't give credit where it's due.
HI MATE
13th9th place over 18th (Just going off EFC78's numbers there.)
That really is all that matters.
