“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

Stevens Report.

“The inquiry remains concerned at the conflict of interest that it believes existed between Craig Allardyce, his father Sam Allardyce – the then manager at Bolton – and the club itself.”

Or, in layman's terms:

"We can't be arsed taking it further, but they're bent as a five bob note and this amendment should make that clear to everyone anyway."

Guilty by being found innocent?

Our manager was caught on video offering to "advise" a group of investors on how to circumvent rules relating to third party ownership of players
which is against FIFA and FA rules.
Whilst this is distasteful in the extreme I don't think it is criminal, but, do we want people who are willing to do things like this while earning a salary of three million p.a. as the national manager.
At the moment I feel really mixed about the situation. On the one hand I despise people like Philip Green and Margaret Thatcher who advocated a Machiavellian approach to making money and sadly our manager falls into this category. But on the other hand it is so refreshing to see us as a team winning games AND keep clean sheets (I know, RS) and therein lies the rub.
There is a perhaps a choice to make but whatever that choice is people should not be berated for making it.......whatever choice they make.

Considering we let Philip Green bankroll us for a while, it would be quite fitting.

First time in a long time, I'm not soiling myself about a visit from one of the big boys. The pressure has been lifted a little, so I'm expecting us to give it a good go and snatch a win.
And I don't care how we do it either
Same here ....Quite calm since Sam arrived ...Good ol' Sam !!;)
