“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

Drop the spade. Palace was an awful game of football. If that’s your level I’m not suprised you’re happy with Allardyce.

It hasn’t even ended.

But considering how easily our fans had turned on Koeman and Unsworth it’s not too surprising that after a disappointing performance people are treating him they way they are.

However you dress it up mate, he wasn`t wanted by the vast majority of the fan base, due to his murky past and his brand of football.

It was his chance to prove us all wrong.

He didn`t, end of.

We`re supposed to be grateful for him " saving us ", with his dire hoofball.

He shows no grace, he has no humility, he has no dignity, he throws his own players under the bus, he blames the fans, do you want me to go on.

He`ll be remembered for somehow managing to convince Theo Walcott, that Everton was the right club for him.

He`s nothing more than a stain on our history.

Yes and we conceded a combined total of 9 goals in north London, against Spurs and an Arsenal side in decline!And defeats at Bournemouth and Watford.While the two games you mention, were indeed 2 of our best performances this season.That's not exactly saying much now is it?Seriously Allardyce is too much of a dour negative thinking manager, to get this club back into the elite.

I disagree. Failing to win the fans over has been his biggest failure. On the pitch we’ve improved (slightly) from before he took over but people struggle to see that because they were against him from the start.

He wasn’t brought in to get us back into the elite. Surely you realised that?! And our crap results this season didn’t start when Allardyce took over. It’s weird that people seem to think he’s responsible for everything that goes wrong.

No mate.Some people were willing in to give him a chance.But then we went out of the cup at Anfield, and the subsequent performances and results started to become increasingly dire.Not to mention, the depressing small minded negative thinking interviews.He hasn't done enough to warrant, being here after the seasons over.The people who had it in for him from the start, were proven right in the end!

Failing to win the fans over isn’t his biggest failure. Being Sam Allardyce is his biggest failure, and appointing him, or even considering him, is a failure of such significant proportions that Moshiri, the man who came to save us, is now squarely under the microscope of the vast majority of Everton supporters. Go figure.
Incidentally, you appear to be in a humongous minority with the Allardyce love-in. There’s usually something behind things like that.

The man is a dinosaur - he was an appalling appointment. Many fans knew it at the time and he has even managed to alienate the vast majority who were prepared to give him a chance by playing boring, negative football.

Surely an 'appalling' appointment would have us still fighting it out around the relegation places like Koeman and Unsworth had us for the majority of their time in charge this season? Appalling isn't how i'd describe someone who has got the club further away from the relegation places and closer to potential European Qualification since he took over. Not saying he's been amazing or anything but he's improved our position.

I appreciate most of the other frustrations people have raised and he has brought a lot of them on himself since the West Brom away game, but loads refused to even give him a chance from the start.

It’s weird that you think he’s done a decent job.
It’s weird that you thought Evertonians would get behind him. I find it astonishing that a Club with the brilliance of EITC also had the stupidity and lack of forethought to appoint a crook. Allardyce and Everton are, in my book, total polar opposites.

Our support know he is horrendous...you simply don’t want to accept it for some reason. I suspect Moshiri rues the day he appointed the oaf.

I’m sure Moshiri is glad we’re not going down. As we all should be considering our start to the season.

Disagree there, until the season is over how could they have been proven right? There are a number of aspects to it.

Should he have been appointed at all?
Should he have been appointed for this season only?
Should he stay on after this season is over?

If he got us a top 10 finish, or even better, a top 7 or 8 finish, I don't know how they have been proved right?

Some forget/like to play down how bad we were when he took over to suit their argument.
