So hows your reaserch going mate? Brian Viner released his book 'Looking for Toffees' and sent us a copy, he dedicated it to me dear ole pops.
I must say though your book sounds very interesting and i look forward to reading it.
Im not the most well known member of this forum but i found their words to me very comforting when my dad passed away earlier this year

Brian Viners a friend of the family and he sent us a copy. When my dad died in April he said he would dedicate it to him. And, sure enough he did.
Although its primeraly about 6 months in Everton in the Gordon Lee era. It also looks at wider issues of the time.
We should have left Lakuku on. Injured or not he still had the pace to leave there full back behind. He would have held the ball up a little in those 8 devestating minutes.
A new book 'Looking for Toffees' re-asseses the Lee era. It states that he had us playing some of the most beautiful football ever....Cant say i remember this like.
